Inclement weather policy revisited!

As we approach the fall season, please keep in mind the safety of our players when inclement weather approaches. In a game situation, this is a referee decision, in a practice situation, this is a coaching responsibility. Although our sport is known for playing in all types of weather, lightening or electrical storms are game stoppers no matter how intense or important the game or practice. The SAY Rulebook addresses this in Law V, section D(2), stating, in the event of an electrical storm, play MUST be stopped until the danger has passed.
