LAW III, Section 2
This law has provided that the team in possession of the ball on the throw-in may substitute any number of players.
A second provision has been added; "If the team in possession chooses to substitute, the opposing team may also substitute any number of players".
LAW III, Section 4
This section has provided: "If a team is found to have more than eleven (11) players participating in play, it shall be treated as an illegal substitution and punished accordingly."
The administrative members felt that this section is not appropriate to young, recreational teams, and Section 4 has been entirely eliminated.
LAW IV, Section 6A- 8
This clause, in defining examples of illegal equipment has stated: " metal cleats or cleats with sharp edges." Section #8 has been removed from the law.
LAW IV, Section 6A-6
This provision has stated "Knee, thigh or hip pads containing sole leather, metal or other dangerous material, even though covered with soft padding." Section 6A-6 has been removed from the law.
